Welcome to Namibia! Upon arrival in Windhoek, you will be transferred to the car rental company where you will collect your rental vehicle and receive a detailed briefing before beginning your safari adventure.

Drive north toward Etosha National Park, Namibia’s leading wildlife destination. Along the approximately 4-hour journey, you may stop in Otjiwarongo for coffee, snacks, or lunch at the popular Bohemia Book Shop Café, well known for its cozy atmosphere, sandwiches, and homemade cakes.

If time permits, enjoy your first wildlife viewing experience inside Etosha National Park later in the afternoon.

Etosha National Park is famous for its exceptional wildlife sightings around natural waterholes, open grasslands, and the enormous Etosha salt pan.

Today is dedicated to a full self-drive safari through Etosha National Park. Early mornings are ideal for wildlife viewing as animals are most active shortly after sunrise.

Search for lions, elephants, rhinos, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, springboks, and many other species that roam freely throughout the park. Etosha’s famous waterholes provide excellent opportunities for close wildlife encounters and photography.

If preferred, a professionally guided safari can also be arranged at an additional cost.

Enjoy one final early morning game drive in Etosha National Park before beginning your journey back to Windhoek.

Return your rental vehicle in Windhoek before transferring to Windhoek International Airport for your departure flight.
