Start the day with early access to Sossusvlei through the lodge’s private entrance. Following breakfast, board a scenic flight to Damaraland, one of Namibia’s most fascinating regions. Depending on flight schedules, a short refueling stop may be made in Swakopmund before continuing north.
Upon arrival, transfer to Doro Nawas Camp and enjoy lunch before settling into your room. Later, take part in an afternoon excursion to discover the region’s unique landscapes, ancient geological formations, and cultural heritage. Damaraland is also home to desert-adapted wildlife, including elephants and black rhinos.

Today is dedicated to exploring the rugged wilderness of Damaraland. Join a guided excursion in search of the famous desert-adapted elephants that roam the dry riverbeds and open plains. Along the way, you may also encounter giraffes, zebras, oryx, and other wildlife that have adapted to survive in this challenging environment.

The vast scenery, dramatic rock formations, and endless horizons make this one of the most memorable parts of the journey. Return to camp in the afternoon and relax by the swimming pool or on your private veranda while enjoying views of the changing desert colors at sunset.

After breakfast, depart on a scenic flight to Etosha, one of Africa’s premier wildlife destinations. Upon landing at the private airstrip, you will be transferred to Ongava Lodge, located within the renowned Ongava Private Reserve bordering Etosha National Park.
Following lunch and some leisure time, set out on your first game drive. The reserve is known for excellent sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, and both black and white rhinos. The lodge overlooks a busy waterhole where wildlife can often be observed throughout the day from the comfort of the property.

Spend the day exploring Ongava Reserve and Etosha National Park with experienced guides. Choose from guided game drives or walking safaris that provide a deeper understanding of the region’s ecosystems and wildlife.
