Your Luxury Kenya Safari begins with an early morning pick-up from Nairobi before travelling north through Kenya's beautiful countryside toward Samburu National Reserve. Along the journey, enjoy changing scenery from green farmlands to the dry landscapes of northern Kenya. Arrive at Ashnil Samburu Camp in time for lunch and relaxation. Later, enjoy your first afternoon game drive where you search for elephants, lions, leopards, and the famous Samburu Special Five. Return to the camp for dinner and overnight beside the Ewaso Nyiro River.
Spend the entire day exploring Samburu National Reserve on morning and afternoon game drives. Look out for Grevy's zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the unique gerenuk. Large elephant herds, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and many bird species are also common here. During the day, relax at your luxury camp or choose an optional visit to a Samburu cultural village to learn about local traditions.
