Your Samburu Safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi. Travel north through Kenya's beautiful highlands before entering the semi-arid landscapes of Samburu. Arrive at Samburu Intrepids Tented Camp in time for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy your first exciting game drive through Samburu National Reserve. Search for elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, and the rare Samburu Special Five along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Return to camp for dinner and overnight surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, spend the day exploring the beautiful landscapes of Samburu National Reserve. Morning and afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot Grevy's zebras, reticulated giraffes, Somali ostriches, Beisa oryx, gerenuks, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and many colourful birds. Enjoy a picnic lunch or return to camp before continuing your wildlife adventure. You may also choose an optional visit to a Samburu cultural village to learn about local traditions, dances, and daily life before returning to camp for dinner.

Wake up early for a final sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active. Watch predators finishing their nightly hunts while elephants and other animals gather along the river.
