Tour Plan

Your Uganda eco-safari tours and conservation trips adventure begins at Entebbe International Airport.
A safari representative will meet you and begin the journey west toward Kibale National Park. Travel through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing farms, tea plantations, banana gardens and small villages.
The road takes you through Fort Portal, a green town close to the Rwenzori Mountains. Depending on your arrival time, you will enjoy lunch on the way or at your accommodation.
Later, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided nature walk. This community-managed area is home to many birds, monkeys and other animals.
Look for red colobus monkeys, black-and-white colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, hornbills and colorful turacos. Your guide will explain how the wetland supports both wildlife and local families.
After the walk, return to Kibale Forest Camp and enjoy dinner.

Wake up early and prepare for chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest.
After a ranger briefing, enter the rainforest and begin searching for chimpanzees. Your guide will look for signs such as calls, nests and movement in the trees.
Once the chimpanzees are found, enjoy time watching them feed, play, groom and move through the forest.
After the trek, have lunch and travel south toward Queen Elizabeth National Park.
On arrival, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Look for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes near the water. Many bird species can also be seen along the shoreline.
Later, enjoy an evening game drive as the sun begins to set. Search for lions, Uganda kobs, buffaloes and other animals across the plains.
Return to The Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, travel toward the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
This area is famous for tree-climbing lions. Your guide will carefully search the large fig trees where lions sometimes rest during the day.
You may also see Uganda kobs, buffaloes, elephants and many birds while exploring the area.
Continue toward Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenery slowly changes from open plains to green hills and thick forest.
After arriving, join a Batwa community experience. Learn about the history, songs, traditions and forest skills of the Batwa people.
This cultural experience gives you a better understanding of the communities living near Bwindi and how tourism can support local livelihoods.
Later, check into Ruhija Gorilla Friends Resort Campsite and prepare for the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Today is one of the biggest highlights of your Uganda eco-safari tours and conservation trips journey.
After breakfast, travel to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing.
Enter Bwindi Forest with trained rangers and trackers. Walk through thick plants, hills and forest trails as you search for a mountain gorilla family.
The trek may take several hours depending on where the gorillas are located.
Once they are found, spend time watching them in their natural home. Observe how the gorillas feed, rest, play and care for their young.
After the trek, return for lunch and continue to Lake Bunyonyi.
This beautiful lake is surrounded by green hills and many small islands. It is a peaceful place to relax after your forest adventure.

After breakfast, leave the highlands and travel toward Lake Mburo National Park.

On arrival, enjoy lunch before taking a guided boat cruise on Lake Mburo.

Look for hippos, crocodiles and many water birds along the shoreline. You may also see fish eagles and other animals close to the lake.

Later, enjoy an evening game drive across the park.

Lake Mburo is home to zebras, impalas, elands, giraffes and buffaloes. Because the park is smaller than many other safari areas, wildlife viewing can feel relaxed and personal.

Return to Hyena Hill Lodge in the evening for dinner.

Begin your morning with a walking safari or bicycle safari in Lake Mburo National Park.
This activity gives you a different way to enjoy nature. Look for zebras, giraffes, antelopes and birds while exploring the park with a trained guide.
After the activity, continue toward Kampala.
Stop at the Equator in Masaka for photographs, souvenir shopping and a short rest.
Continue to Kampala and check into Bushpig.
Spend the evening relaxing before your flight to Tanzania the next day.

An optional hot-air balloon safari can be arranged for travelers who want to see the Serengeti from the air.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive before continuing your wildlife viewing in the afternoon.
Return to Seronera Wildlife Lodge in the evening for dinner.

After breakfast, leave the Serengeti and continue toward Ngorongoro Crater.

Descend into the crater for an exciting game drive.

The crater is home to many animals because it has water, grasslands and forest areas.

Enjoy lunch during the safari and continue exploring the crater floor.

Later in the afternoon, drive toward Arusha.
