After breakfast, leave Entebbe and travel north through Uganda's countryside toward Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. The journey passes busy towns, small villages, farms, and roadside markets.

After breakfast, begin the long but scenic drive south toward Kibale National Park. Today's journey provides an opportunity to see more of Uganda beyond its national parks.

Travel through rural communities, farms, small trading centers, and changing landscapes. Sections of the journey offer views toward Lake Albert, the Rift Valley, and distant mountains.

Stop for lunch along the way before continuing toward western Uganda. As you approach Kibale, the countryside becomes greener, with tea plantations, forests, and cultivated hills creating beautiful scenery.

Kibale is one of Africa's leading destinations for primate experiences and is especially famous for its chimpanzees.

Arrive at your lodge and spend the evening relaxing in the peaceful forest surroundings.

After breakfast, head to the designated starting point for your chimpanzee experience. Following a briefing, enter Kibale Forest with trained guides and trackers.

After lunch, head toward the Kazinga Channel for an afternoon boat cruise. This natural waterway connects Lake George with Lake Edward and supports large numbers of animals and birds.

Look for hippos in the water, crocodiles along the shoreline, elephants coming to drink, and buffaloes resting near the channel. Birdlife is also excellent.

After the cruise, return to your lodge for a relaxing evening.
