Your safari starts in Nairobi before heading north to Samburu. The reserve is known for its rare Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx. You will also have the chance to see elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, and many bird species. The Ewaso Nyiro River adds life to the dry landscape and attracts wildlife throughout the year.
From Samburu, the Luxury Kenyan Package continues to Lake Nakuru in the Great Rift Valley. The park is famous for its birdlife and is also an important home for black and white rhinos. During game drives, you may see Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, zebras, and other wildlife. Your luxury accommodation gives you a peaceful place to relax after exploring the park.
The final destination is the legendary Masai Mara National Reserve. Its open grasslands are home to large numbers of lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and zebras. Between July and October, the area can also host parts of the Great Migration, when huge herds of wildebeest and zebras move through the Mara ecosystem.
This Luxury Kenyan Package combines exciting game drives with carefully selected luxury camps and lodges. You can enjoy beautiful scenery, delicious meals, comfortable rooms, and the personal service of a professional safari guide. Tour Plan
Your Luxury Kenyan Package begins in Nairobi with a morning departure for Samburu National Reserve. After meeting your professional driver-guide, you leave the city behind and travel north through the changing landscapes of central Kenya.
The journey takes you through busy towns, green farmlands, small villages, and open countryside. As you travel farther north, the landscape becomes drier and more rugged. You may see local communities, livestock, acacia trees, and dramatic hills along the way.
By midday, you arrive at your luxury camp, Elephant Bedroom Camp, located beside the Ewaso Nyiro River. The camp offers a beautiful setting where you can relax while staying close to nature. Your spacious tent provides comfortable accommodation, an en-suite bathroom, and a private outdoor area.
After lunch and some time to rest, you head out for your first game drive in Samburu National Reserve. Your guide will help you search for the famous Samburu Special Five. Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk, Somali ostrich, and Beisa oryx are among the special animals that make this region different from other parts of Kenya.
You may also see elephants gathering near the river, lions resting beneath trees, giraffes feeding on shrubs, or a leopard moving quietly through the bush.
As the afternoon comes to an end, you enjoy a beautiful African sunset before returning to camp. Dinner is served in a peaceful setting, followed by an evening around the campfire.
Main Destination: Samburu National Reserve
Accommodation: Elephant Bedroom Camp
Day two gives you more time to discover the remarkable wildlife of Samburu. After an early breakfast, you set out for a morning game drive when temperatures are cooler and many animals are active.
Your guide will follow the best wildlife areas and explain the behavior of the animals you encounter. Elephants are often seen moving between the river and the surrounding bush. You may also spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, and different antelope species.
Samburu is especially rewarding for travelers who want to see wildlife that is not commonly found in southern Kenya. The reticulated giraffe has a beautiful geometric pattern, while the gerenuk is famous for standing on its hind legs to reach leaves from tall bushes.
After the morning drive, you return to camp for lunch and relaxation. You can enjoy the surroundings, relax at the camp, or spend time on your private veranda.
In the afternoon, you head back into the reserve for another game drive. The changing afternoon light creates excellent conditions for photography. You may follow elephants along the Ewaso Nyiro River or search for predators around the open plains.
Later, your guide finds a scenic location for a traditional safari sundowner. Enjoy a drink and some snacks while watching the sun disappear behind the hills.
You return to camp for dinner and another peaceful night in the Samburu wilderness.
Main Destination: Samburu National Reserve
Accommodation: Elephant Bedroom Camp
After breakfast, you leave Samburu and begin your journey south toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The landscape changes as you travel from the dry northern region toward the green highlands and the Great Rift Valley.
The drive offers views of farms, rural communities, hills, and sections of the dramatic Rift Valley landscape. Your driver-guide will share information about the places you pass and the different communities living in Kenya.
By midday, you arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park and check into The Cliff Camp, a luxury property offering impressive views over the park and lake.
After lunch and some relaxation, you begin an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is well known for its birdlife, especially flamingos that may gather around the lake when conditions are suitable. The number of flamingos can change with water levels and food availability, but the park remains an excellent destination for birdwatching.
Nakuru is also one of Kenya's important rhino areas. During your drive, you may see black and white rhinos moving through the grasslands. Other wildlife includes Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, warthogs, lions, leopards, and many smaller animals.
As evening approaches, the light over the lake creates beautiful views. You return to your luxury camp for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Your fourth day begins with an early morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The cool morning is a good time to search for wildlife before breakfast.
You may encounter rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, and a variety of birds. After the game drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast before beginning your journey to the Masai Mara.
The road takes you through the Great Rift Valley and toward Narok. You will see changing landscapes, farms, villages, and Maasai communities along the way.
By afternoon, you arrive at the Masai Mara and check into Entim Mara Camp, a luxury camp located in the heart of the reserve.
After lunch and a short rest, you begin your first game drive in the Mara.
The Masai Mara is famous for its large wildlife population. Lions are frequently seen across the plains, while elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, and antelopes are common. With good fortune, you may also see cheetahs and leopards.
During the Great Migration season, usually between July and October, large herds of wildebeest and zebras may move through the Mara. However, wildlife can be excellent throughout the year.
As the sun sets, you return to camp for dinner. Spend the evening relaxing around the campfire and listening to the sounds of the African bush.

Accommodation: Entim Mara Camp
Today is dedicated entirely to exploring the Masai Mara. You wake early and leave camp for a morning game drive.
The early hours are among the best times to look for predators. Lions may be returning from a night hunt, while cheetahs may be searching for prey across the open grasslands. Leopards can sometimes be found resting in trees or moving through thicker vegetation.
The Mara is also home to large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, and different antelope species.
You can choose between a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch or return to camp for lunch before heading out again in the afternoon. A full-day drive allows you to travel deeper into the reserve and spend more time looking for wildlife.
For an additional cost, you may also choose a hot-air balloon safari. This early morning experience provides a completely different view of the Mara as you float above the plains while wildlife moves below.
Another optional experience is a visit to a Maasai village. This gives you an opportunity to learn about traditional Maasai culture, music, dance, beadwork, and daily life.
Later in the afternoon, you return to camp for relaxation. Enjoy the luxury facilities, take in the views, and prepare for your final night in the Mara.
Dinner is served at camp, followed by an evening around the fire.

After the game drive, you return to camp for breakfast before checking out.
