The safari begins in Amboseli National Park, one of Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations. Your Luxury Kenya Safari begins in Nairobi with an early morning collection from your hotel, residence, or the airport, depending on your travel arrangements. You will meet your professional driver-guide, receive a short safari briefing, and board your private 4x4 safari vehicle fitted with a pop-up roof for comfortable game viewing.
You will leave Nairobi and travel south toward Amboseli National Park. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from the busy surroundings of the capital to rural communities, farms, small towns, and open countryside. Along the way, you may see Maasai herders with their cattle and traditional homesteads spread across the landscape.
As you approach Amboseli, Mount Kilimanjaro may begin to appear on the horizon. On clear days, the snow-covered summit creates an extraordinary backdrop to the surrounding plains. At 5,895 metres, Kilimanjaro is Africa's highest mountain and one of the most recognizable features of the Amboseli landscape.
After entering the park, you will proceed to Elewana Tortilis Camp Amboseli for check-in and lunch. The camp provides a comfortable setting surrounded by the natural beauty of Amboseli.
After some time to relax, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is particularly famous for its elephants, and you may encounter large herds moving across the plains or around the park's wetland areas.
Other wildlife you may see includes zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, lions, and cheetahs. Birdlife is also abundant, with different species found around the wetlands and grasslands.

Today is dedicated entirely to Amboseli National Park. You will wake early for a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to explore the park. The morning air is cooler, wildlife is often active, and the soft light provides excellent conditions for photography.
As you drive through the park, your guide will search for elephants and other wildlife. Amboseli's wetlands are especially important because they provide water and food for animals throughout the year. Large elephant herds may be seen moving through these areas, while hippos and water birds can sometimes be found close to the water.
A bush breakfast can be arranged at a suitable location, allowing you to enjoy your meal surrounded by the wilderness. After breakfast, continue exploring the park's open plains, woodland, and wetland habitats.
You may encounter lions resting in the grass, cheetahs moving across the plains, buffaloes grazing in groups, and zebras and wildebeest feeding alongside other herbivores. Giraffes, warthogs, hyenas, and different antelope species may also be seen.
After the morning exploration, return to Tortilis Camp for lunch and time to relax. You can enjoy the camp's facilities and views before heading back into the park in the afternoon.
Observation Hill can be visited where access and timing permit. From this elevated location, you can enjoy broad views across Amboseli's plains, wetlands, and surrounding landscapes, with Mount Kilimanjaro potentially visible in the distance.

Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, you will leave Amboseli and begin your journey toward Lake Naivasha. The route takes you north through changing Kenyan landscapes and toward the Great Rift Valley.
The journey provides opportunities to see rural communities, farms, small towns, and dramatic changes in scenery. As you approach Naivasha, the environment becomes greener, with farmland and vegetation surrounding the freshwater lake.
On arrival, you will check in at Enashipai Resort & Spa and enjoy lunch. The resort provides a peaceful environment where you can relax after the journey.
In the afternoon, you can explore Lake Naivasha through optional activities. A boat ride is one of the most popular experiences. From the water, you may see hippos around the lake and a variety of birds along the shoreline. African fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and other water birds can often be observed.
You can also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking experience. The area is known for opportunities to see giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and other wildlife on foot in a controlled environment with a guide.
Walking among wildlife provides a different experience from viewing animals from a safari vehicle. It allows you to appreciate the landscape, animal tracks, plants, and smaller details that can easily be missed during a traditional game drive.

After breakfast, you will leave Lake Naivasha and travel toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey is relatively short and continues through the beautiful Great Rift Valley.
Lake Nakuru is known for its diverse wildlife and birdlife. The lake can attract large concentrations of flamingos when conditions are favorable, although their numbers and distribution can change depending on water levels and food availability.
Upon entering the park, you will begin your game drive. Your guide will search for rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, lions, and other animals. Lake Nakuru is an important habitat for both black and white rhinos, making rhino viewing one of the major highlights of the park.
You will continue toward Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for check-in and lunch. The lodge provides comfortable accommodation and scenic views of the surrounding area.
After lunch and a short rest, head out for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park's open grasslands, acacia woodland, lake surroundings, and rocky areas while looking for wildlife.

After breakfast at Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge, you will leave Lake Nakuru and begin the journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve.
The route takes you across sections of the Great Rift Valley and through rural Kenya. You will see farmland, villages, open landscapes, and Maasai communities as you travel toward the Mara.
The Masai Mara forms part of the wider Serengeti-Mara ecosystem and is one of the world's most famous wildlife destinations. As you approach the reserve, the landscape opens into broad grasslands where wildlife can often be seen.
On arrival, proceed to Lerai Safari Camp for check-in and lunch. After some time to relax, you will head out for your first afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara.
The reserve supports an impressive range of wildlife. During your drive, you may see elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and different antelope species.
The Mara is particularly famous for its predators. Lions can often be found resting or moving across the plains, while cheetahs may use open areas to hunt. Leopards are more elusive and may require patience and careful tracking by your guide.
As the afternoon light softens, the savannah becomes especially beautiful. Enjoy the changing colors of the landscape before returning to Lerai Safari Camp.

Today is dedicated to a full-day exploration of the Masai Mara. You will rise early for a sunrise game drive, when the cooler temperatures and early morning light create excellent conditions for wildlife viewing.
Your guide will explore different areas of the reserve in search of predators and herbivores. You may see lions beginning their morning activities, cheetahs searching for prey, or leopards returning from a night of hunting.
The Mara's grasslands are also home to large numbers of herbivores. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, topis, impalas, and other antelope species can be encountered during the drive.
A bush breakfast can be arranged at an appropriate location, giving you the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in the wilderness. You will then continue exploring the reserve.
Depending on the route, you may visit areas around the Mara or Talek rivers. These waterways provide important habitats for wildlife and may offer opportunities to see hippos and crocodiles.
If you travel between July and October, you may also have the opportunity to witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. Large herds of wildebeest and zebras can move through the Mara during this period. However, the timing and location of the animals change naturally each year, and river crossings cannot be guaranteed.
Return to Lerai Safari Camp for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, continue with another game drive.
As sunset approaches, enjoy the golden colors across the Mara plains before returning to camp for dinner.

Your seventh day gives you another opportunity to explore the Masai Mara in greater depth. Since wildlife is constantly moving, spending more time in the reserve increases your opportunities to experience different areas and animal behavior.
Start the morning with another game drive. Your guide may focus on areas known for predator activity or search for large herds of herbivores. You may encounter lions with cubs, hyenas moving across the plains, elephants feeding in family groups, or giraffes browsing among acacia trees.
The Mara offers a different experience every day. Even if you have already seen certain animals, their behavior and surroundings can create completely new experiences.
After the morning activity, return to Lerai Safari Camp for lunch and relaxation. You can enjoy the camp's facilities, rest in your tent, or simply take in the surrounding wilderness.
In the afternoon, you can choose another game drive or participate in an optional cultural experience. A Maasai village visit provides an opportunity to learn about traditional homes, clothing, beadwork, music, dancing, livestock, and aspects of community life.
Another optional experience is a hot-air balloon safari. When booked and available, it provides a unique aerial view of the Mara's grasslands and wildlife, usually followed by a bush breakfast.
Later, enjoy your final afternoon in the reserve. A sundowner can be arranged where appropriate, allowing you to watch the sunset over the Mara plains.
Return to camp for dinner and your final night in the Masai Mara.

Your final morning begins with a farewell game drive in the Masai Mara. This is your last opportunity to explore the reserve before starting the journey back to Nairobi.
The early morning provides another chance to see wildlife while the temperatures remain cool. You may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, antelopes, or predators before leaving the reserve.
After the game drive, return to Lerai Safari Camp for breakfast and check-out.
You will then begin the journey back to Nairobi. The route takes you through the Great Rift Valley and rural Kenyan countryside. Depending on the schedule, lunch can be arranged along the way.
On arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or at your Nairobi hotel if you are continuing your stay in Kenya.
