6-Day Tanzania Mid-Range Safari
Overview
This 6-day safari takes you through the heart of Tanzania’s famed northern circuit — including Lake Manyara, the endless plains of Serengeti, and the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll travel in a private 4×4 safari jeep with a pop-up roof, led by an experienced guide. From flamingos and tree-climbing lions in Manyara, to the Great Migration in the Serengeti, and the endangered black rhino in Ngorongoro, this safari offers a complete and unforgettable wildlife experience.
Tour Plan
Upon arrival at the airport, your driver will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. Optionally, you can stop by the city for a short tour or visit Kilimamoto Hill for a short hike and sunset views. Later, you’ll be briefed about your upcoming adventure.

After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its large flocks of flamingos and the elusive tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting wildlife such as buffalo, wildebeest, warthogs, monkeys, and a variety of birds. Visit the hippo pool and natural hot springs before heading to your lodge for the night.

After breakfast, begin the journey to Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way, you can opt to visit a Maasai village and learn about their unique culture. Arrive in the Seronera region of Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive until sunset.

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch predators in action. After a late breakfast or brunch at camp, continue your final game drive in Serengeti as you exit the park and head toward Ngorongoro Crater, arriving at the lodge on the rim in the evening.

After an early breakfast, descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Big Five, with a strong chance of spotting the elusive black rhino. After lunch inside the crater, ascend and drive back to Arusha for your final night.
