The drive takes you through the changing landscapes of central Kenya before crossing the Equator and entering the semi-arid Samburu region. As you travel north, the scenery gradually changes from green agricultural highlands to dry plains, rocky hills, and riverine vegetation.
Arrive at your luxury tented camp in time for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive through the reserve.

Lake Nakuru is well known for its rhino population and diverse birdlife. Search for black and white rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, zebras, and other wildlife.
The lake and surrounding habitats also support many bird species. Although flamingo numbers can vary depending on water conditions and food availability, the lake remains an important bird habitat.
