Here, you will enjoy thrilling game drives, encounter the Big Five, and visit the sanctuary that protects the world’s last remaining northern white rhinos. The conservancy also hosts a unique chimpanzee sanctuary, offering a rare opportunity to see these fascinating primates.
The journey continues to Rwanda, often referred to as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Explore the vibrant city of Kigali before traveling to Volcanoes National Park, where one of the most exciting highlights of this Africa Safari Tour awaits—mountain gorilla trekking. Watching these gentle giants in their natural environment is a life-changing wildlife experience that few destinations can offer.
From Rwanda, cross into Uganda and venture into the famous Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas. Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a representative and transferred to your hotel. Depending on your arrival schedule, you may choose to visit some of Nairobi’s top attractions, including the Giraffe Centre, the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, or the Nairobi National Museum. Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the exciting journey ahead.

Depart Nairobi and travel north to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a scenic drive of approximately four hours. Upon arrival, settle into Sweetwaters Serena Camp and begin exploring one of Kenya’s premier wildlife destinations.
Over the next two days, enjoy extensive game drives in search of elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos. Visit the famous Rhino Sanctuary, home to the last two northern white rhinos on earth, and learn about ongoing conservation efforts. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where rescued chimpanzees are protected.

Fly from Nairobi to Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital city. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and begin exploring the city’s rich history and culture.
Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial for a deeper understanding of Rwanda’s past and remarkable recovery. Explore local markets, cafés, and cultural attractions such as the Inema Arts Centre. On the following day, you may spend time discovering more of Kigali or choose an optional excursion to Lake Kivu or Nyungwe Forest.

Travel through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside to Volcanoes National Park. The journey takes approximately three hours and offers spectacular views of rolling hills and rural villages.
On the following morning, embark on one of Africa’s most sought-after wildlife experiences—gorilla trekking. Accompanied by experienced guides, hike through the forest in search of a mountain gorilla family. After spending a memorable hour observing these incredible animals, return to the lodge for relaxation. Optional activities include visiting Dian Fossey’s research site or exploring the lakes surrounding the park.

Cross the border into Uganda and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Upon arrival, settle into your lodge and enjoy the peaceful rainforest surroundings.
The next day brings another unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Trek through dense forest trails to observe a different gorilla family in their natural habitat. Later, learn about the traditions of the Batwa community or enjoy a guided nature walk through the forest.
On Day 11, travel to the beautiful shores of Lake Bunyonyi. Spend time relaxing, taking a boat ride, or simply enjoying the scenic views.

Fly to Tanzania and continue to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, check in and begin your wildlife adventure on the vast plains of this iconic ecosystem.
Enjoy afternoon and full-day game drives in search of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and countless other species. Depending on the season, you may also witness sections of the Great Migration. An optional sunrise hot air balloon safari provides an extraordinary view of the Serengeti landscape.

After breakfast, travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the crater floor for a full day of wildlife viewing in one of Africa’s most remarkable natural settings.
The crater supports a dense concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and flamingos. Enjoy spectacular scenery and excellent photographic opportunities throughout the day.
