Day 1 – Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Traveling through the picturesque landscapes of Kenya, you will arrive in time for lunch at your luxury camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, exploring the vast plains and observing resident wildlife including lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. The Mara’s sweeping savannahs and rolling hills provide a stunning backdrop for photography. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 – Full Day in Masai Mara

After breakfast, spend a full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, accompanied by a packed lunch. Explore different areas of the reserve to maximize wildlife sightings, including the Big Five and other fascinating species. Bird enthusiasts will delight in nearly 500 species, from eagles and vultures to sunbirds and storks. Optional activities may include a hot air balloon ride over the Mara or a visit to a Maasai village. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 – Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the Mara before departing for Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. After crossing the border and completing formalities, continue your journey into the Serengeti, famous for its endless plains and abundant wildlife. Enjoy the scenery en route and remain on the lookout for elephants, giraffes, zebras, and predators. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4 – Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Wake up to the vast Serengeti plains for a full day of game drives with flexible schedules. Home to over 2 million large mammals, including wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, the Serengeti attracts lions, cheetahs, and hyenas in search of prey. Smaller mammals like bat-eared foxes, jackals, and mongoose, as well as nearly 500 bird species, add to the diversity. Spend the day exploring the park, enjoying photography and wildlife observation, before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5 – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Begin with an early morning game drive in Serengeti to catch wildlife at their most active. After breakfast, transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, an 8th Natural Wonder of the World, with walls rising 2,000 ft and a floor teeming with wildlife. Spot rhinos, elephants with enormous tusks, zebras, lions, and more in one of Africa’s richest wildlife habitats. Dinner and overnight stay will be at your luxury camp.

Day 6 – Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Wake up early for a final morning game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. Explore the crater floor, enjoying close encounters with its incredible concentration of wildlife. Stop for a picnic lunch near Hippo Lake, then ascend the crater and exit towards Arusha. Arrive in Arusha in the late afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the airport, concluding your 6-day luxury safari across Kenya and Tanzania.
