Tour Plan
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you’ll be greeted by your professional safari guide and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Unwind and prepare for your adventure. In the evening (around 5:30 PM), you’ll have a pre-safari briefing and equipment check, including confirmation of your medical and travel insurance.
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its dramatic baobab trees and large elephant herds. During the dry season, wildlife flocks to the Tarangire River, drawing predators like lions and leopards. With over 500 bird species, this park is also a birder’s paradise. Enjoy a full day of game drives before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You may opt to visit Olduvai Gorge ($35 pp extra), one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Upon entering the Serengeti, enjoy an afternoon game drive across the vast plains.
Start your day with an early morning sunrise game drive for a chance to spot predators in action. After breakfast and a brief rest at camp, continue with a full-day game drive in the central Serengeti (Seronera region), rich in wildlife and famed for sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, and the Great Migration (seasonal). Return to camp for another night under the stars.
After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact caldera. Enjoy a thrilling game drive inside the crater, home to a dense population of wildlife including the rare black rhino, hippos, lions, elephants, flamingos, and more. In the afternoon, drive to Karatu for overnight at your lodge.
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park set against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley. It’s known for its tree-climbing lions, rich birdlife, and thriving elephant population. After a game drive and picnic lunch, you’ll return to Arusha in the late afternoon to end your safari journey.
