7-Day Extraordinary Wildlife Adventure
Overview
This 7-day Kenya Luxury Safari is designed for travelers who want to experience some of Kenya’s most famous wildlife destinations while enjoying comfortable luxury accommodation and private safari travel. The journey combines the dramatic landscapes of Amboseli National Park, the peaceful waters of Lake Naivasha, the wildlife-rich Lake Nakuru National Park, and the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.
Your safari begins in Nairobi and travels south to Amboseli, one of the best places in Kenya to see large herds of elephants with Mount Kilimanjaro rising in the background. You will then continue to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, where you can enjoy a relaxing boat ride and see hippos and water birds. The safari continues to Lake Nakuru, known for its rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, and seasonal concentrations of flamingos.
The final part of your Kenya Luxury Safari takes you to the Masai Mara, where open grasslands provide excellent opportunities for spotting lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and many other animals. If you travel during the Great Migration season, usually between July and October, you may also have the opportunity to witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving through the Mara ecosystem. Migration movements and river crossings are natural events and cannot be guaranteed.
Throughout the journey, you will travel in a private 4×4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof and an experienced professional driver-guide. Carefully selected accommodation, full-board meals, scheduled game drives, park and applicable activity fees, airport transfers, and drinking water are included. This makes the safari ideal for couples, families, honeymooners, first-time visitors, and travelers looking for a comfortable and well-organized African wildlife experience.
Tour Plan
Your Kenya Luxury Safari begins early in Nairobi with collection from your hotel, residence, or airport, depending on your arrival arrangements. After meeting your professional safari guide and a short briefing, you will begin your journey south toward Amboseli National Park.
The drive takes you through changing landscapes as Nairobi gives way to rural Kenya. You will see farms, local villages, open plains, and traditional homesteads along the way. As you approach Amboseli, the landscape becomes drier and more open, with views of Mount Kilimanjaro becoming possible on clear days.
Amboseli is famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park has a mixture of grasslands, acacia woodland, seasonal wetlands, and a dry lakebed. These different habitats support a wide range of wildlife.
On arrival, you will check in at Ol Tukai Lodge and enjoy lunch before relaxing for a short while. In the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive. Your guide will search for elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, hyenas, cheetahs, and other wildlife.
As the afternoon comes to an end, you may enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding plains and, weather permitting, Mount Kilimanjaro. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Wake up early for a pre-sunrise game drive, one of the best times to explore Amboseli. The morning light creates excellent photography conditions, while many animals are active before the heat of the day becomes stronger.
Your guide will take you through different sections of the park in search of wildlife. Amboseli is particularly famous for its elephants, and you may see large herds moving between feeding areas and the park's wetlands. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro can also be spectacular in the early morning when the weather is clear.
A bush breakfast can be arranged in a suitable location, allowing you to enjoy a meal surrounded by the African wilderness. After breakfast, continue exploring the park's dry lakebed, grasslands, and acacia areas. Wildlife commonly seen includes lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, warthogs, giraffes, hyenas, and different antelope species.
You will return to the lodge around midday for lunch and time to relax. Later in the afternoon, another game drive takes you back into the park. You may visit Observation Hill for panoramic views across the Amboseli landscape.
The day ends with a beautiful African sunset before returning to Ol Tukai Lodge for dinner and another comfortable night.

After breakfast, you will leave Amboseli and begin the scenic journey north toward Lake Naivasha. This is a longer travel day, but it provides an opportunity to experience Kenya's changing landscapes and rural communities.
The route takes you through parts of the Great Rift Valley, with beautiful scenery, farmland, small towns, and countryside views along the way. On arrival at Lake Naivasha, you will check in at Enashipai Resort & Spa.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake surrounded by green landscapes and is well known for its birdlife and resident hippos. Depending on your schedule, you can enjoy an optional boat ride on the lake at an additional cost. A boat excursion provides an opportunity to see hippos in the water and a variety of water birds, including African fish eagles and kingfishers.
You can also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking experience. The area is known for its peaceful wildlife encounters, with opportunities to walk among animals such as giraffes, zebras, waterbucks, and antelopes under the guidance of a local professional.
After the day's activities, return to Enashipai Resort & Spa. You can relax at the property, enjoy its facilities, or simply rest after the long journey. Dinner and overnight accommodation will be provided at the resort.

After an early breakfast, you will depart Lake Naivasha and drive toward Lake Nakuru National Park. The short journey takes you through the beautiful Great Rift Valley before reaching one of Kenya's important wildlife areas.
Lake Nakuru is surrounded by wooded and open landscapes that provide habitat for a wide range of animals. The lake is also known for its birdlife and can attract large numbers of flamingos when water and feeding conditions are favorable.
Upon entering the park, your game drive begins as you make your way toward Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge. Along the route, keep an eye out for rhinos, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, warthogs, lions, and other wildlife. Leopards are also present in the park, although sightings are less predictable.
You will arrive at the lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, continue with another game drive through Lake Nakuru National Park. Your guide will select the best areas based on recent wildlife activity and road conditions.
A visit to a viewpoint such as Baboon Cliff may also be included where conditions and timing allow. From the higher areas, you can enjoy wide views of Lake Nakuru and the surrounding landscape.
After the game drive, return to Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge for dinner and overnight accommodation.

After breakfast, leave Lake Nakuru and begin your journey to the Masai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes you through the Great Rift Valley and rural landscapes, with views of farms, villages, open countryside, and Maasai settlements along the way.
The Masai Mara forms part of the wider Serengeti-Mara ecosystem and is one of Africa's most famous wildlife destinations. Its open grasslands provide excellent conditions for game viewing throughout much of the year.
On arrival, you will proceed to Mara Maisha Camp for check-in and lunch. After some time to relax, prepare for your first afternoon game drive in the Mara.
Your guide will explore the surrounding plains in search of wildlife. The area supports elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, lions, cheetahs, and leopards, together with many smaller animals and bird species.
The afternoon is also a wonderful time for photography as the light becomes softer toward sunset. Your guide will position the vehicle in suitable areas while respecting park regulations and wildlife.
After the game drive, return to Mara Maisha Camp for dinner. You can relax around the camp and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the African bush before spending your first night in the Masai Mara.

Today is dedicated to a full-day wildlife experience in the Masai Mara. You will leave early in the morning for a game drive when temperatures are cooler and predators and other wildlife are often active.
The Mara's open grasslands offer excellent opportunities to search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, and many species of antelope. Your experienced guide will use knowledge of the reserve, wildlife behavior, and recent sightings to help you make the most of the day.
Depending on the route and conditions, you may explore areas around the Mara and Talek rivers. These waterways support wildlife throughout the year and can provide opportunities to see hippos and crocodiles.
A bush breakfast can be arranged where appropriate, allowing you to enjoy breakfast in the wilderness before continuing your wildlife exploration. During the July to October migration period, the Mara can receive large herds of wildebeest and zebras moving through the ecosystem. River crossings are spectacular but depend entirely on natural animal movements and cannot be guaranteed.
Return to Mara Maisha Camp for lunch and a short rest before heading out again in the afternoon. Continue your game drive until the late afternoon, enjoying the changing scenery and golden light.
Return to camp for dinner and an evening of relaxation, with time to share stories from the day's wildlife encounters.

Your final day begins with an early morning farewell game drive in the Masai Mara. This is your last opportunity to explore the reserve and enjoy the quiet morning atmosphere before leaving the wilderness.
The early drive may provide another chance to see lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, antelopes, or other wildlife. Your guide will choose the route based on the time available and recent wildlife activity.
After the game drive, return to camp for breakfast and prepare for your journey back to Nairobi. You will then begin the drive through the Kenyan countryside, passing rural communities, farms, towns, and sections of the Great Rift Valley.
Lunch can be enjoyed en route depending on the final routing and timing. Continue toward Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel.
