Fly toward Namibia's Atlantic coastline, with a possible refueling stop in Swakopmund before continuing north.
The landscape changes dramatically as you approach the Skeleton Coast.
The enormous Namib Desert meets the cold Atlantic Ocean here, creating one of Africa's most unusual environments.
Continue north toward Möwe Bay before transferring across the remote landscape to Shipwreck Lodge.

Today, the region remains wild and sparsely populated.
Activities can vary depending on weather and local conditions. You may explore the surrounding dunes, search for desert-adapted wildlife or visit fascinating geological formations.
The famous Clay Castles are among the unusual natural features found within the wider region.
Wildlife has also found ways to survive in this difficult environment. Depending on the area explored, you may encounter animals adapted to living with very limited water and vegetation.
Beach exploration can reveal another side of the Skeleton Coast, including evidence of the maritime history that gave the region its name.
Return to Shipwreck Lodge later in the day.
After dinner, step outside and enjoy the silence and darkness of one of Namibia's most remote wilderness regions.

After breakfast, say goodbye to the Skeleton Coast and prepare for another scenic flight.
Board your private charter aircraft and travel toward northern Namibia. Depending on flight arrangements, a refueling stop may be made before continuing toward the Etosha region.
After landing, transfer by road to Onguma The Fort.
Located on the eastern side of Etosha National Park, Onguma provides an excellent base for exploring one of Namibia's most famous wildlife destinations.
After checking in and enjoying lunch, prepare for your first safari experience.
The Etosha ecosystem supports an impressive variety of wildlife. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and numerous antelope species can be encountered, while lions are among the major predators found in the region.

Set out early with your guide when temperatures are cooler and many animals are active.
Etosha is famous for its open landscapes and waterholes, which become particularly important during the dry season.
Your guide may spend time moving between different waterholes while looking for signs of wildlife activity.
Elephants may arrive in family groups to drink and cool themselves. Giraffes approach carefully, spreading their front legs before lowering their long necks toward the water.
Large numbers of zebras, springbok, wildebeest and other herbivores can gather in the surrounding areas.
Predators are never far away.
Keep watch for lions resting under trees or moving across the open plains. With luck, you may also encounter other predators during your safari.
Rhino sightings are another major attraction of the region.
Return to the lodge during the warmer part of the day for lunch and some relaxation before heading out again later in the afternoon.
