After breakfast, depart Nairobi and journey north to Samburu, arriving in time for lunch and check-in. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive across the semi-arid wilderness. Samburu is known for its unique wildlife species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, and Somali ostrich, as well as lions, leopards, and elephants often seen along the Ewaso Nyiro River. Return to camp before sunset for dinner and overnight.

Spend the entire day exploring Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives or a full-day excursion with picnic lunch. The reserve’s dramatic scenery of doum palms, rocky outcrops, and riverine forests creates excellent habitats for predators. Wildlife viewing here often includes lions, cheetahs, elephants, and abundant plains game in a less crowded setting. Return to camp before dusk.

Depart after breakfast for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving for lunch. In the afternoon, explore the park famous for its flamingos and as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos. After breakfast, proceed to the Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. Later, embark on an afternoon game drive across the rolling savannah.
