Wake up early for one of the most exciting experiences of your safari.
After breakfast, travel to the ranger station for a gorilla trekking briefing. Rangers will explain the rules and what to expect before you enter Bwindi Forest.
Walk through the rainforest with experienced trackers. The trek may take several hours depending on where the gorillas are located. Along the way, enjoy views of thick plants, colorful birds and butterflies.
Once the gorillas are found, spend time watching them in their natural home. See how they feed, play, rest and care for their young.
After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some rest.
Later, enjoy a Batwa cultural visit. Meet members of the local community and learn about their history, music, dancing and traditional forest life.
Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner.

After breakfast, leave Bwindi and begin the journey back toward Entebbe.
Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel through Uganda’s countryside. Along the way, stop at the Equator line in Masaka.
Take photographs, visit local craft shops and enjoy a short break before continuing to Entebbe International Airport.
Board your scheduled flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania.
On arrival, a representative will meet you and transfer you to Arusha. Check into Outpost Lodge and spend the evening relaxing after your journey.

After breakfast, leave Arusha and travel toward Serengeti National Park.
As you enter the park, the landscape opens into wide grasslands filled with wildlife. Over the next two days, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with your professional safari guide.
Search for lions, elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, buffaloes and many other animals. Depending on the season and location, you may also see large herds of wildebeest and zebras.
Visit areas known for hippos and predators, and stop for photographs whenever interesting wildlife appears.

After breakfast, fly from the Serengeti to Zanzibar.
On arrival, transfer to Tembo House Hotel & Apartments. Zanzibar offers a very different experience from the safari parks, with warm beaches, historic streets and tropical scenery.
During your stay, explore Stone Town on a guided walking tour. Walk through narrow streets and learn about the island’s history, culture and architecture.
Continue to a spice farm and discover how cloves, cinnamon, vanilla and other spices grow. You can smell, taste and learn about the plants that helped make Zanzibar famous.
