Welcome to Poundvester Safaris! By booking a safari or using our website and services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. About Us
Poundvester Safaris is a registered Kenyan tours and travel company specializing in safari packages, beach holidays, and travel-related services across East Africa.
2. Booking and Payment
a) How to Book
To confirm your booking, a completed inquiry form must be submitted and a deposit paid as per our instructions.
c) Currency
All prices are quoted in Kenya Shillings (KES) unless otherwise stated.
3. Cancellations and Refunds
a) Cancellation by Client
If you cancel your trip, the following charges apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: 25% cancellation fee
- 15–30 days before: 50% cancellation fee
- Less than 15 days: 100% cancellation fee
Refunds will be processed within 21 business days. Bank or transfer charges may apply.
b) Cancellation by Poundvester Safaris
We reserve the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, clients will receive a full refund or offered an alternative of equal value.
5. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering health, trip cancellations, and lost luggage.
6. Changes to Itinerary
While we strive to deliver the itinerary as described, changes may occur due to weather, safety, park regulations, or logistical issues. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary for your safety and comfort.
7. Liability
Poundvester Safaris will not be held liable for:
- Delays or cancellations caused by airlines, government actions, or natural events
- Illness, injury, or loss of property during the tour
- Acts of negligence by third-party service providers (e.g., hotels, airlines)
We take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety and satisfaction.
8. Passports, Visas & Health
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport, visa, and meet health requirements for the countries visited. We provide support and guidance but are not responsible for entry denial.
9. Use of Photos and Testimonials
By participating in a safari, you agree that Poundvester Safaris may use photos or videos taken during your trip for marketing purposes (unless you request otherwise in writing).
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved through amicable negotiation or, if necessary, through Kenyan courts.
